Getting AIR MILES Reward Miles

Do I have to provide my own AIR MILES Collector number in my BMO Sobeys AIR MILES Mastercard application?

You can provide any valid AIR MILES Collector number as the number you want associated with your BMO Sobeys AIR MILES Mastercard account. However, once the Miles earned on the BMO Sobeys AIR MILES Mastercard are transferred to the AIR MILES Collector account they will be used at the discretion of the Primary AIR MILES Collector belonging to the number provided.

How do I get miles on my BMO Sobeys AIR MILES Mastercard?

You will earn 3 Miles for every $25 you spend at participating Sobeys stores in Ontario, Foodland stores in Atlantic Canada as well as at participating IGA stores in Western Canada, and 1 AIR MILE reward mile for every $25 you spend everywhere else Mastercard is accepted. Miles earned will be awarded cumulatively once a month on your BMO Mastercard statement date, and will be transferred to the AIR MILES Card that is linked to your BMO Sobeys AIR MILES Mastercard.

How do I use Miles earned on my BMO SobeysAIR MILES Mastercard?

The Miles earned on your BMO Sobeys AIR MILES Mastercard will be transferred to the AIR MILES Collector number associated with your BMO Sobeys AIR MILES Mastercard account once a month approximately 1-2 days after your statement date. These Miles will be combined with all other Miles earned on the associated AIR MILES Card and will then be used for rewards offered by the AIR MILES Reward Program. Where do I find out more information on the 3x the Miles benefit?

What do I do if my BMO AIR MILES Mastercard is lost or stolen?

The moment you realize your BMO Sobeys AIR MILES Mastercard is lost or stolen, you must report it to BMO by calling 1-800-361-3361 from North America, or 514-877-0330 internationally (call collect through the Canadian operator).

If you are a member of a credit card registration plan, you can report the lost card to them and they in turn will report this BMO.

If your card is used without your authorization, you will not be liable if; you did not contribute to the unauthorized use; you used reasonable care to safeguard your card and PIN; you notified us by telephone within 24 hours after you learned of the loss, theft or misuse of your card or cheques or after you knew or suspected that someone else knows your PIN; you haven’t reported two or more unauthorized transactions in the last 12 months, and; If you don’t meet these criteria, you will be liable for all charges incurred in connection with the unauthorized use.
